The 2010s is a golden era for China’s high-speed rail development. The mileage of high-speed rail has exceeded 35,000 kilometers. Two maps show the rapid development of high-speed rail in the past decade. In 2020, the High-Speed Rail has reached north to Harbin, South to Hainan, and West to Urumqi. For the first map, it showed the High-Speed Rail in 2010. Since I want to compare it with the one in 2020, I also put in those lines that are under construction and in planned. For the second, there are five more times of lines in 2020. Some of them have a speed of over 300, and most of them go over 200. For the green ones, they have the potential to be a high-speed rail as well. The High-speed rail is connecting all provinces except Tibet.
